Cameron's Ski Sweater

Here is a pattern I've been working on. The first sample is a ski style sweater, made by hand knitting the yoke with self patterning yarn. The plain solid body and sleeves I knitted on a bulky machine. The yarn is Universal Classis Worsted Tapestry 80% acrylic and 20% wool. As I was knitting it I thought this is coming out bigger than I had in mind.

Knitting rule: number 101: Just keep knitting it will fit someone.

And that someone was Cameron, my 17 year old grandson. The day he tried it on it was about 97 degree outside. His comment was "Gramma this is really itchy" but I think he managed to look very cool when he modeled it for the blog photo. He also created the blog for his G'ma Jean. Teenagers can be very handy to have around.
I've made a medium size in blue that I will post later.
